Learn to Brew Craft Beer at KJ
Guided by our professional brewing team, we will walk you through all of the steps to brewing your own beer at home in just one evening. This is a comprehensive class that is easy to follow, fun, and very informative.
This innovative class distills the multi week brewing process into just one evening class held at our retail location in Guelph, ON. The equipment used in the class is virtually identical to our regular beer starter kits.
Classes sizes will be kept at a maximum of eight students to ensure everyone gets ample time to be involved in the entire brewing process.

3 Hours Total, fully interactive with instruction by our brewing instructors with lots of time for Q&A.
Pricing: $79.99 Per Student
Class Syllabus:
- Quick overview of beer ingredients
- Learn to mash malted barley in the brew in a bag style
- Boil the wort and add hops to the brew
- Begin the fermentation with a yeast addition
- Finish up with bottling two different batches of beer and taking a 6 pack of those beers home to enjoy later.
Meet the Teacher
Jeremy has over a decade of experience at both the commercial and homebrewing level. He began his brewing career at Wellington Brewery in Guelph, and joined the KJ team in 2019.
Since joining KJ, Jeremy has become our head brewer and is constantly brewing and evolving his methods to make the best damn craft beer possible. He has been responsible for the development and production of 100s of different recipes and styles - many of which have been featured in our "Beer of the Month" program.
Assisting Jeremy during the class will be a rotating cast of the KJ team.

Book a private brewing class for your group. Private groups will have the undivided attention of our teaching staff and the use our retail location in Guelph, Ontario.
Groups of 6 or more can book a private brewing class anytime our store is not open (ie, evenings or Sundays).
Ideal for team building activities, holiday parties, or a fun night with friends and family.
