Wort Chillers
You've been brewing since 6pm and you're exhausted. You have mashed, sparged, waited for the boil, and then boiled the wort for at least an hour. Now it's 2am and you're sitting in your kitchen and the wort just won't cool. The third ice bath has taken the temperature down to 50°C - nowhere close to pitching temperature. You're tired and ready for bed.
NEXT time you say, you will get a wort chiller. Wort chillers are an almost essential piece of equipment for the homebrewer. They can save hours of time during the brew day, and that time savings also prevents bacterial infection, improves clarity, and gets you to bed faster.
